Community Library & Resource Center

Mission:

“Meeting the educational, cultural, research and informational needs of the Pascua Yaqui community by providing access to a collection of books, curricular material, audiovisual materials and other documents n a welcoming and respectful environment”.

 

Department Services:

The goal of the Community Library and Resource Center is to enhance library services on the reservation in order to support literacy and education achievement and to promote the preservation of Yaqui culture and heritage. Intergenerational activities and partnerships with schools, the local public library and programs within the Education Division will promote reading and create literacy connections between schools and families living on the reservation.
