1533First contact with Spaniards in Rio Yaqui Valley, Sonora, Mexico.
1884Begin moving to Arizona.
1890Old Guadalupe settled.
1910Guadalupe settled on 40 acres.
1960Yaquis in Old Pascua initiate request for land.
1964Federal Government deeds 202.76 acres to "Pascua Yaqui Association".
1978Federal recognition of the Tribe on September 18.
1983Bingo Hall opens.
1988Pascua Yaqui Constitution signed by Bureau of Indian Affairs.
1994Yaquis given "Historic Status" under federal legislation.
1994Gaming Compact with Arizona and Casino of the Sun opens.
1995Pascua Yaqui Health Maintenance Organization established.
