The Pascua Yaqui Multipurpose Justice Center will be a 61,000sf complex consisting of several new buildings for the Pascua Yaqui Justice Building and Police Department.
The holding facility will contain 21 beds and a Central Control. The building will be constructed of load bearing masonry, steel framing, and poured-in-place concrete slabs. The exterior of the building will be a mix of split-face CMU, ground-face CMU and cement plaster over CMU. Additional buildings on site include: a 2,800sf office building, a 500sf animal shelter and a 5,000sf classroom building associated with the temporary holding. These buildings will also be constructed of load bearing masonry, steel framing, and poured-in-place concrete slabs. The exterior of the buildings will be CMU and cement plaster over CMU.
The site is approx. 5 acres. Site work will include a central courtyard with water feature, entry plaza, asphalt parking area for 167 vehicles, a secure sallyport and landscaping. The courtyard and entry plaza will be constructed of concrete paving. The project is located on South Camino de Oeste, Tucson, Arizona.
