Our mission is to maximize employment and thus protecting the rights and interests of all Tribal Members by enforcing Indian preference in contracts within, and for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe; by providing workforce protection against discrimination, unfair pay and labor practices by outside employers working on the reservation; to enforce Indian preference in contracting, subcontracting, grant and sub-grants to Indian owned entities; to assist and refer tribal members to other tribal programs for apprenticeship, vocational training and counseling for advancement in the workplace; and to address any barriers to employment.
