Cuaresma Schedule 2014
In the Yoeme Communities, the people celebrate the Lenten Season through the Yaqui Easter Cultural Ceremonies. The Ceremonies begin on Ash Wednesday and continue through Easter Sunday. One aspect of this ceremony is the Yaqui interpretation of the Catholic liturgy for the Easter Season, concurrent with the dramatization of the Passion of Jesus Christ by the Yoeme People.
The following is a schedule of events which occur during Lent.

|April 12||Palm Saturday||The fiesta: An all night fiesta with the emergence of the Deer Dancer and the Pahkolam 9:00p.m. The Fiesta Procession 11:00 p.m. |
|April 13||Palm Sunday ||The procession with the Palms and Procession of Christ into Jerusalem 11:00 a.m. Palm distribution. |
|April 16||Holy Wednesday||The Tenebrae (The Whipping) 9:00 p.m. |
|April 17||Holy Thursday||Late morning Procession of the Heart of Jesus with angels 10:00 a.m. The pursuit of the Old Man 3:00 p.m. The capture of the Nazarene 9:00 p.m |
|April 18||Good Friday ||The Crucifixion of Christ followed by two processions and all night vigil of the body of Christ 5:30 p.m. |
