The Alternative Medicine Clinic provides services to the Pascua Yaqui Tribal Community by offering Naturopathic and Chiropractic care. Our intent is to support well-being and longevity by helping one achieve and maintain control of their health. We help individuals address chronic care conditions such as diabetes and chronic pain, as well as acute conditions such as colds, flu, and ankle sprains.
We employ herbs, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, nutritional supplements, chiropractic adjustments and other treatments to help our patient’s bodies find their own innate balance. In other words, we strive to aid the body in healing itself.
Eligibility: Any Pascua Yaqui Tribal member and their minor dependents, regardless of residence, and any Pascua Yaqui Tribal employee.
Appointments may be scheduled for Dr. Krause (Monday-Friday), Dr. Garcia (Wednesday and Friday), and Dr. Peterson (Tuesdays).
Appointments and limited walk-ins are accepted for Biometrics, Ear nada (ear acupuncture), and a variety of other simple acute issues (i.e. cold, allergies, styes of eye).
In order to have an appointment on the nurse’s schedule for an IM shot, IV, or Orthoplus, one must have a standing order from the Naturopathic doctor or one of the Chiropractors.
