Environmental Protection Agency

The Environmental Protection Agency Program’s goal is to reduce environmental harm to tribal member, land waste, air, and water. Referrals are accepted from tribal community members and Tribal Programs.

Resources are the following:

  • Asthma education: information on how to handle house hold chemicals, possible asthma issues etc.)
  • Environmental health assessments (Ex. Itchy throats, itchy eyes)
  • Learn about nontoxic cleaner recipes
  • Learn about recycling products

What the EPA Program is towards the following:

  • Air Quality Standards
  • Concern in community about radon
  • Conduct radon testing
  • Develop a flag program
  • Form an environmental committee

Services can be obtained in person or by phone. All documentation is considered confidential. One of our goals is to form an environmental committee to help assist in keeping their staff in compliance with our Air Quality Standards once they’re implemented.
