DaVita Dialysis Center is located in the Hiak Hitevi Kari Building (Westside).

The dialysis is operated by the DaVita Corporation under contract with the Tribe.

DaVita Dialysis Center provides ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) services to patients with kidney failure. Services available to ESRD patients include, but are not limited to the following:

• Staff-assisted hemodialysis as prescribed by the patient’s physician.
• Self-dialysis in selected centers.
• Initial and ongoing patient and family education regarding the management of and treatment options for ESRD.
• Comprehensive social services and dietary evaluation and counseling.
• In cooperation with local hospitals, laboratories and transplant facilities, evaluation of patients for renal transportation.
• Followed by Nephrologist and a nurse practitioner.

The Dialysis Center has 13 dialysis chairs and offers dialysis from 5:15 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Support staff at the Dialysis Center includes a Facility Administrator, nurse, patient care technician, social worker, and dietician.

Each patient treated at the Tribal Dialysis Center must have a treating physician who has been granted privileges to admit patients to the Dialysis Center.
