We are here to provide pharmaceutical and educational medication services to honor everyone’s differences and similarities, working together as a team to improve the health of our Yaqui community.
In 2008, through a healthcare contract with El Rio Santa Cruz Neighborhood Health Center, El Rio Pascua Pharmacy opened its doors as a on-site pharmacy in the Hiak Hetavi Kari building in new Pascua reservation. During this time, the pharmacy was staffed with two pharmacists and five pharmacy technicians. The pharmacy was remodeled in 2015, and in 2021, relocated to the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Health and Social Services Family Center to a newly built space. In 2023, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Health Services Division assumed El Rio Pascua Pharmacy as a Tribal pharmacy under the new name, Pascua Yaqui Pharmacy. Today, we have four pharmacists, six pharmacy technicians, and a pharmacy technician specialist. We look forward in continuing to provide medication services and meeting our community needs as your preferred pharmacy.
