Assisted Living

Assisted living is a spacious 10 bedroom home that is located in the heart of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Reservation. The facility is geared towards a holistic model to help elderly individuals remain independent. The Pascua Yaqui Assisted Living facility provides coordinated oversight and services to meet the residents’ individualized needs to include medical assessments, care plans, physical activities, scheduled field trips, arts and crafts, group projects and many more cultural events.

The Home features:

  • 10 large bedrooms with a closet, television and access to the bathroom
  • Individually room controlled heating and cooling
  • Basic cable
  • Emergency call system
  • Open floor plan
  • Large Living Room and Dining Room with High ceilings
  • Arts/Crafts Room
  • Kitchen (which will be maintained by staff)
  • Laundry facilities
  • Two outdoor patio areas with exceptional views and landscaping
  • Secure key pad entry into the courtyard
  • 24 hour Emergency Care available
Services include:
  • Caring is provided by certified trained staff 24-hours a day
  • Personal and supportive services to include assistance with activities of daily living
  • Health related services (nursing services, medication management services)
  • Social services
  • Recreational activities
  • Three Meals a day provided
  • Housekeeping and laundry available
  • Scheduled transportation available

A resident has the right to make choices and receive services in a way that will promote the resident’s dignity, autonomy, independence, and quality of life. These services are disclosed and agreed to in the contract between the provider and resident. Assisted living does not provide ongoing, 24-hour skilled nursing care.

  • Receive and send mail promptly and unopened
  • Private unrestricted communication with others
  • Privacy in treatment and caring for personal needs
  • Furnish their own rooms and use and retain personal clothing and possessions
  • Right to exercise choice and lifestyle as long as it does not interfere with other resident’s rights.

How many beds will there be?
10 – Each room will be a single resident room. We will be reserving a room(s) for a resident who may have special needs.
Will I be able to dress myself?
Yes, we prefer that you dress yourself each day on your own.
Will I have activities during the day?
Yes, you will have scheduled activities daily.
Will I be able to cook our own food?
No – the staff will cook all meals.
What if I need help eating?
You will need to be able to feed yourself.
Will I be able to use a wheelchair?
Yes, you will be able to use a wheelchair.
Will I be able to see my family?
Yes, during visiting hours.
Will I be able to see my doctor?

Yes, you will still be able to see your own doctor and specialist for all your appointments. We encourage you to keep all your appointments.

The facility will provide transportation to and from the medical appointment.

Can I wear depends?
Yes, you can wear depends, but you will be required to change them on our own.
Do I need to keep my room and area clean?
Yes, it is your responsibility to keep your area clean.
