Centered Spirit Program is part of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe (PYT) Health Division; services are open to enrolled Pascua Yaqui members and their immediate family in the Tucson and Guadalupe areas. It is the mission of CSP to provide professional, confidential, and culturally compatible mental health and substance abuse services for Pascua Yaqui Tribal members and their families. Our services promote healing, personal growth, and healthy living for the individual, the family and the community. Services offered directly by Centered Spirit include individual, couples, family and group therapy, methadone/suboxone maintenance, youth life skills groups, psychiatric evaluation, and psychiatric medication follow-up. CSP also offers crisis evaluations for emergency situations.

The Child & Family Team provides community-based, trauma-informed services for individual, group, and family counseling; as well as in-school counseling, in-home counseling, prevention education and referrals to psychiatrists, psychologists, inpatient, or residential treatments. The team also provides services to families with children who are in recovery from alcohol/drugs and works very closely with PYT Social Services/Child Protection Services.
The CSP Crisis Team assists members that are dealing with mental, emotional, or physical distress such as depression, family violence, loss, or drug/alcohol-related issues. Helpfulness and communication is crucial to keeping our community strong and connected.
Comprised of youth community members from 5th grade through High School, the GPP partners with programs through the community to plan events and opportunities for substance abuse education to the town.

Men's Path offers inpatient, individual & group counseling, a 12 step program, prevention education, life skills, job training & case management.
The Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention Initiative (MSPI) is a nationally-coordinated program focusing on providing much-needed methamphetamine and suicide prevention and intervention resources for Indian Country. This initiative promotes the use and development of evidence-based and practice-based models that represent culturally-appropriate prevention and treatment approaches to methamphetamine abuse and suicide prevention from a community-driven context.
The New Beginnings Methadone Clinic provides individual & group substance abuse counseling for opiate addiction, physical exams, methadone dosing, prevention education, and referrals to detox.
CSP St. Mary’s provides outpatient behavioral health services to PYT Tribal members and their families who are experiencing challenges in their lives. Challenges could be due to traumas, losses, addiction, medical or behavioral health issues, family disruption or family conflict. CSP St. Mary’s is a satellite outpatient clinic stationed in Tucson, right behind the St. Mary’s Hospital in the Century Medical Plaza. The Clinic is off the reservation and therefore we are required to follow the Bureau of Medical Facility Licensing regulations.
